Fashionist Evening Dresses, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair, which is the heart of evening dresses, wedding dresses and suits fashion in Turkey, started in Istanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kırdar Halls.  Fashionist Evening Gowns, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair, which is the heart of evening dresses, wedding dresses and suits fashion in Turkey, started in the halls of Istanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kırdar OTİAD Chairman Karataş: "Despite the economic and political crises and various problems in existing markets, we expect significant breakthroughs this year."  Fashionist Evening Dresses, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair, which is the heart of evening dresses, wedding dresses and suits fashion, started in Istanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kırdar halls. The fair will host its visitors until January 16. Fashionist, one of the important fairs of the textile and apparel industry, which aims to create a business volume of 300 million dollars between three continents and organized for the third time this year, has started. Organized in cooperation with Patika Fuar AŞ and Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OTİAD), Fashionist opened its doors with the opening ceremony. Speaking at the ceremony, Didem Cılga, General Manager of Patika Fuar AŞ, said, "We are opening our fair with a different excitement this year. Although it is only in its 3rd year, the success of 'Fashionist Evening Gowns, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair', which was entitled to enter the 'International Fair' category by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), is growing by making us proud on behalf of our country." Didem Cılga, General Manager of Patika Fuar A.Ş., stated that they succeeded in reaching many buyers from different regions of the world as a result of the field studies carried out for about a year and that they brought Turkey's largest buying delegation to Fashionist this year and invited fashion enthusiasts to the fair.

 2016 Spring/Summer Collections on Display
 İlker Karataş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTİAD, said that they hope that this year's international identity of Fashionist will revitalize the textile and ready-to-wear sector, which has been stagnating for a while, with new acquaintances and new connections. Karataş said, "The fair targets a total business volume of 300 million dollars. The foreign buyers who are expected to visit the fair with the support of our stakeholders related to textile and the studies for new markets aim to offer new business opportunities to our companies." Karataş stated that 120 brands and 15 designers will exhibit their 2016 Spring/Summer collections for the first time this year at Fashionist, which closes Istanbul's fair gap in evening dresses, wedding dresses and wedding suits, and said, "Magnificent fashion shows and special presentations will give our guests a complete fashion feast."

 1000 Person Buying Delegation
 İnanç Ulu, Chairman of the Executive Committee of OTİAD Fashionist Fair, pointed out that in the previous two fairs, with 250 participating brand companies and nearly 40 thousand visitors, they provided a huge commercial volume and added value of 500 million dollars to the Turkish economy. Ulu said, "In addition to more than 300 professional buyers that we invited and hosted from potential markets with our own budget and means in the past years, this year; within the scope of the State Aids of the Ministry of Economy; especially with the great financial support of İHKİB and İTHİB Boards of Directors; we are proud to be organizing a 700-person buyer delegation program determined by considering potential and target markets."

 Fashion Shows Captivated
 After the opening ceremony, Rengin brand held its opening fashion show. Alchera, Importa Fabrics By Serap Koç and Sagaza Madrid fashion shows took place. There was great interest in the fashion shows attended by famous models who took part in the fashion shows of international fashion giants. Today, Favore, Ottoman Moda-Moda Turka and Designer Banu Güven fashion shows will meet with visitors at Fashionist. Famous Designer Tuvana Büyükçınar's Tuvanam brand will hold the closing gala fashion show of Fashionist on the last day of the fair, Saturday, January 16 at 17:00.
