 At the 23rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) held on April 23, the new board of directors of the association was elected. The 23rd Ordinary General Assembly of MÜSİAD was held at the Haliç Congress Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci. The afternoon session of the assembly, which was attended by many participants, including F. Oktay Demir representing our association OTİAD, was closed to the press. This part of the board started with the formation of the Divan Board and continued with the summary of the association's activities and budget presentation. Then the new Board of Directors was proposed and the members were voted.

 At the General Assembly where Nail Olpak continued to serve as the president, Olpak, Ahmet Selvi, Alipınar Tobdaş, Bekir Sami Nalbantoğlu, Burak Benşin, Esat Akbülbül, Eyüp Uğur, Fuat Tosyalı, Gökhan Murat Kalsın, Gülten Durdu, Hakan Altınay were elected as full members, Halim Aydın, Mahmut Asmalı, Mehmet Ünal, Melike Günyüz, Namuk Alper Esen, Nazım Özdemir, Necmettin Öztürk, Ömer Faruk Akbal, Ömer Faruk Çelik, Remzi Gür, Soner Meşe, Turgut Al, Ümit Kiler and Yavuz Fettahoğlu.

 The afternoon session of the Board was open to the press. In the second part of the Assembly, which started with the reading of the National Anthem and continued with the recitation of the Holy Quran, a cinevision show titled 'MÜSİAD Turkey's New Power' was shown.Following the show, MÜSİAD President Nail Olpak made the opening speech, after which President Erdoğan addressed the participants. Erdoğan's speech was interrupted from time to time by the applause and cheers of the participants. After the speeches, Olpak presented a painting to Erdoğan. In addition, MUSIAD sector board presidents, branch presidents and board members who handed over their duties were also presented with gifts, while the Assembly ended with a family photo shoot.
