Hosiery Industrialists' Association (Hosiery Industrialists' Association) Gave Iftar
The iftar dinner, which is traditionally organized by the Hosiery Industrialists' Association (ÇSD) every year, was held at Polat Renaissance Hotel in Yeşilköy, Istanbul on July 8, Tuesday evening. Hosted by ÇSD President Hüseyin Öztürk, the iftar program was attended by Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OTİAD) Chairman İlker Karataş and OTİAD members, Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Vice President İrfan Özhamaratlı, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (İTHİB) President İsmail Gülle, as well as presidents and executives of many sectoral associations, ÇSD members, members of the hosiery sector and solution partners of ÇSD.
The opening of the iftar program, hosted by Ebru Hekimoğlu, started with the introductory film of ÇSD. President Hüseyin Öztürk, who took the floor afterwards, started his speech by emphasizing the importance of the month of Ramadan and the emotions rising in this month, and wished that the climate of tolerance and affection of Ramadan would spread to all areas of life.
In his speech, Öztürk stated that they did not go beyond the framework of love and tolerance while carrying out their activities and that this brought success. Giving information about IF Expo Hosiery, Underwear Fair, Öztürk mentioned the success of the fair by growing in a short time and stated that this year, in addition to hosiery, underwear, swimwear, home wear, garment sub-industry, the embroidery sector will also take place with the participation of embroidery associations in Istanbul, Izmir and Denizli affiliated to the Fashion and Ready-to-Wear Federation (MHGF).
Speaking after Öztürk, ITHIB President İsmail Gülle pointed out that Turkey makes approximately one in ten socks in the world, which is an incredible achievement.
