OTIAD Traditional Iftar Dinner Was Very Colorful

OTİAD held one of its traditional iftar dinners at Four Seasons Bosphorus Hotel on Thursday evening, July 3. The iftar dinner, which was sponsored by İpekiş Mensucat of Tarman family, one of the doyen families of Turkish textile and also one of the members of OTİAD, was held with the participation of 650 people.

      Istanbul Deputy Governor Kazım Tekin, Şişli District Governor Salih Işık, Şişli Deputy Mayor Vasken C. Barın, ITHIB President İsmail Gülle, ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan, Şişli Police Chief M. Fatih Sarıyıldız, Abdullah Kiğılı, founder and owner of the Kiğılı clothing chain, presidents and representatives of sectoral associations, exporter unions, Osmanbey residents and OTİAD members attended the iftar.

      The opening speech of the program was made by İlker Karataş, Chairman of OTİAD Board of Directors. In his speech, Chairman Karataş touched upon the social and economic issues of our country and the world as well as sectoral and regional issues. Following Karataş, ITHIB President İsmail Gülle, ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan and Istanbul Deputy Governor Kazım Tekin took the floor and shared their short messages with the guests.

      In addition, President Karataş presented an authentic porcelain plate on behalf of OTİAD to Efe Tarman, representing the Tarman family, the sponsor of the night, and thanked him for his financial contribution. OTİAD's traditional iftar dinner ended with a Turkish Art Music concert.
