Istanbul Chamber of Industry's (ISO) executive bodies and Assembly Presidency elections were finalized. Erdal Bahçıvan, who served as the Chairman of the Assembly in the last period, won the election for the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Bahçıvan's opponent was Tanıl Küçük, who has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for 12 years. 104 Assembly Members voted in the election, with 61 votes for the list led by Bahçıvan as the candidate for Chairman of the Board of Directors and 43 votes for Tanıl Küçük's list. Zeynep Bodur Okyay, who ran as the sole candidate, also won the Assembly Presidency election held on the same day. Okyay became the first female Assembly Speaker in the history of the ISO. In the same election, İsmail Gülle and Hasan Büyükdede were elected as Vice Presidents of the Assembly, and Serdar Urfalılar was elected as Clerk.
Making statements to the press after the announcement of the results of the Board of Directors election, Erdal Bahçıvan pointed out that they had an intensive period of work and said, "By announcing our candidacy early and starting committee work, we gave the first signs of change even before the election." Bahçıvan reiterated his views that it was not right to announce candidacy a day or two before the election.

Substitute members were Nurhan Kaya, Serdar Urfalılar, Adem Genç, Aydın Aslandağ, Selçuk Sadır, Rıdvan Mertöz, Vehbi Canpolat, Aynur Ayhan, Selim Dağbaşı, Erol Çetin.
