Anadolu Bil Vocational School Fashion Design Program held the 1st Sock Pattern Design Final Competition "Are You Aware of the World" in cooperation with the Sock Industrialists Association (ÇSD) on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Cemile Sultan Korusu. İTO President İbrahim Çağlar, İSO Vice President and TİGSAD President İrfan Özhamaratlı, OTİAD President İlker Karataş, LASİD President Gıyaseddin Eyüpkoca and sector representatives attended the sock design competition and award ceremony.

 In his speech at the opening ceremony, ÇSD President Bülent İyikülah emphasized the importance of cooperation with the University and emphasized that the competitions carry the sector forward.

 2 Thousand Lira Cash Prize for the Winner
 In the final, which was organized for the first time this year and in which 30 young designers competed, Göksu Şengeçer was deemed worthy of first place, while Nilgün Şimşek came second and Melike Meliha Dönmez came third. Göksu Şengeçer, who won the first prize in the competition, was awarded 2000 liras as well as a tablet. The second Nilgün Şimşek was awarded 1500 liras and a tablet, and the third Melike Meliha Dönmez was awarded 1000 liras and a tablet.
