OTİAD President Karataş: Education Problem Must Be Solved First
İlker Karataş, President of Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OTİAD), expressed his views under three headings: "Although high taxes come to the forefront on the basis of informal employment, the most important problem is lack of education. Another problem is the inability of businesses to create an institutional structure and the lack of an audit mechanism. As OTİAD, we attach great importance to the training of our members; we organize continuous training seminars for this purpose. These trainings should be supported by roof organizations and they should contribute to raising awareness of our companies."
Other representatives who attended the meeting also stated that radical decisions should be taken against unregistered employment, and that vocational qualification certificates, institutionalization, supervision, unionization and awareness would reduce this problem.
