Future exporters opened EVTEKS

Organized for the 25th time this year, Istanbul International Home Textile Fair is being held with the participation of 120 thousand buyers from 120 countries, 50 thousand of which are foreigners. Curtains produced by recycling pet bottles and polyester yarns and duvet covers obtained by recycling cotton yarns are among the environmentally friendly products that stand out at the fair.

Coinciding with April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the opening of EVTEKS Fair was enlivened with the participation of children. The children, who are the exporters of the future, wished EVTEKS Fair to be the biggest fair in the world.

Istanbul International Home Textile Fair (EVTEKS), one of the two largest fairs in the world in its field, started at CNR EXPO Yeşilköy with the participation of over 1,000 brands. This year, innovation, fun and sustainability are at the forefront of the home textile products exhibited at the fair. Curtains produced by recycling pet bottles and polyester yarns and duvet covers obtained by recycling cotton yarns are among the environmentally friendly products that stand out at the fair.

EVTEKS had a double feast this year

Coinciding with April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the opening of EVTEKS Fair was enlivened with the participation of children. The children made evaluations about the fair and the sector and wished EVTEKS Fair to be the biggest fair in the world. The opening ceremony of EVTEKS Fair was hosted by CNR Holding Chairman Ceyda Erem and attended by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President İsmail Gülle, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) President Şekib Avdagiç, Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) President Pınar Taşdelen Engin, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association (İTHİB) President Ahmet Öksüz, Turkey Home Textile Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TETSİAD) President Ali Sami Aydın, Adana Chamber of Industry President Zeki Kıvanç, Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel President Mustafa Gültepe, DENİB Vice President Süleyman Kocasert, OTİAD President Rıdvan Kandağ.
