Organized by Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) in order to increase design, innovation and value-added product exports in the textile sector, the "13th International Fabric Design Competition" awards were presented.

 Young designers competed in the "International Fabric Design Competition" organized for the 13th time this year by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) with the support of the Ministry of Trade and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

 In the competition; Aslı Filinta, Berrin Zorlu, Beyza Uyanoğlu, Buket Özkalfalar Barut, Canan Hancıoğlu, Fatih Bilici, Feryal Gülman, Fırat Neziroğlu, Gizem Esendemir, Gülben Ergen, Gözde Sarar, İvana Sert, Nihat Odabaşı, Ruken Mızraklı, Sedef Çalarkan, Sema Güral Sürmeli, Sinem Kınran Parlak, Siren Ertan, Sitare Kalyoncuoğlu, Süleyman Orakçıoğlu, Yalçın Ayaydın, Yıldırım Mayruk, Zekeriya Tanrıverdi were the jury members.

 After the evaluation made by the jury, İpek Aslanboy was the first, Ayşe Durmaz was the second and Hümeyra Yılmaz was the third. The first prize of the competition was 60 thousand TL, the second prize was 30 thousand TL, the third prize was 15 thousand TL and a foreign education award. The finalists of the competition were also presented with a sewing machine to contribute to their designs.

 The fabrics of the 10 young designers who made it to the finals were staged with the design of Hakan Akkaya and the presentation of Bahar Feyzan. Amputee models Muhammed Eymen Şahin and Hatice Tunç appeared before the jury in special costumes designed to draw attention to the fact that there are no obstacles in fashion, which received great applause.

 OTİAD was represented by President Rıdvan Kandağ, Board Members Eda Arpacı, İbrahim Erdem and Mehmet Ali Gümüş.
