Rıdvan Kandağ, who took over the flag from İlker Karataş at the 10th Ordinary General Assembly of Osmanbey Textile Business People Association, signaled 'change' and 'innovation' in his speech in which he revealed his road map for the 2018-2020 period.

 In the General Assembly, where it was also voted to change the gender discriminatory expression "businessmen" in the name of the association to "Business People", it was decided to change the name of the Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association to "Osmanbey Textile Business People Association", provided that the abbreviation OTİAD was preserved.

 Founded in 1999, the 10th Ordinary General Assembly of Osmanbey Textile Business People Association (OTİAD), the civil society power of Osmanbey, which plays an important role in the development of Osmanbey, was held on May 9, 2018 at Ramada Hotel. Rıdvan Kandağ became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTİAD as a result of the election held after the approval of the activity and audit report of the previous management in the General Assembly, where the highest participation has been achieved so far.

 Speaking at the General Assembly, OTİAD President Rıdvan Kandağ, after introducing the new board members he will work with, informed the delegates about how to act in the two-year period covering the 2018-2020 period.

 Describing Osmanbey as a beautiful chain of stories that has reached today with its streets, buildings, people and experiences other than ready-to-wear design and production, Kandağ said, "However, the stories of the people we serve have started to change. If we want to fill 'Our World' with success stories, we will start by learning how to manage change together." 

Roadmap and Category Management

 Rıdvan Kandağ said that in the road map they will follow, they will attach importance to solution-oriented work with a team spirit instead of building a language based on problems, and for this reason, OTİAD has switched to Category Management; he stated that this method will continue to develop and strengthen day by day.

 President Kandağ also made the following statement about the vision, strategy and action plans:

 "Our vision is to ensure sustainable growth with the inclusiveness of 'We are one' and to reinforce the phenomenon of a highly competitive economy by increasing the synergy between institutions, associations and categories. We have built our strategy on simplifying problems, needs and priorities to produce solutions. We will write what to do and do what we write. We need to stop bragging about the past, combine our minds, knowledge and capabilities, and as a whole, drip the water to the same point and drill the stone. For this reason, our action plan will be to implement priority projects in a way to achieve quick gains."

 Emphasizing that performance standards will be accurate, objective and measurable during the implementation and monitoring phase, Rıdvan Kandağ added that a continuous evaluation will be made by regularly monitoring performance and providing feedback to the categories.

 At the end of his speech, OTİAD President Rıdvan Kandağ urged all Osmanbey residents to think positively about the future and said, "We should focus not on future problems, but on how to solve them differently from others. The main thing is to manage the challenge. Therefore, we all have responsibilities. Let's take care of our world, our Osmanbey together," and thanked everyone, especially the past presidents and board members of OTİAD, who have worked for Osmanbey until today.
