The organization, in which ITHIB celebrated its 40th anniversary, was attended by \u0130lker Karata\u015f, Chairman of Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OT\u0130AD) and OT\u0130AD members, Hikmet Tanr\u0131verdi, Chairman of \u0130HK\u0130B, Giyasettin Eyy\u00fcpkoca, Chairman of LASIAD, Ya\u015far K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck\u00e7al\u0131k, Chairman of TETS\u0130AD and many members and guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening of the program started with a cinevision show summarizing 40 years of \u0130TH\u0130B members. Afterwards, ITHIB Chairman \u0130smail G\u00fclle took his place at the podium to make his opening speech. G\u00fclle stated that they were excited to celebrate 40 years and talked about the development of the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the program continued with the plaque ceremony. A plaque of appreciation was also presented to Tamer Pala, a member of the Board of Directors of OTIAD, for having served as a member of the Board of Directors of ITHIB in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the plaque ceremony, plaques were also given to the people who have served as Chairman and Board Members during the 40 years of service period, especially Halit Narin, the doyen of the textile industry, the late R\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc Ak\u0131n and Evrensel Erdo\u011fan.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"tx-excerpt\">Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) hosted an iftar dinner at Shangri La Bosphorus Hotel on July 2, 2014.
