The President and Board Members of Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association (OTİAD) visited Erdal Bahçıvan, President of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) in his office. During the meeting, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, information about the activities of OTİAD was given and the problems and solutions of the sector were discussed.

Meeting with Erdal Bahçıvan, President of ISO, OTİAD Board Members had the opportunity to express the general problems experienced by the textile sector and industrialists. During the visit, opinions were shared about the economic developments foreseen in 2014 as well as the developments in Turkey and the world. The situation of the sector was evaluated regarding the developments in the Middle East, which is one of the most important problems of the Turkish textile and ready-to-wear sector recently. Stating that he closely follows OTİAD and sees it as one of the most successful associations of the sector, ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan said: "We expect projects and studies that will excite us from our associations. OTİAD is an association that carries out important activities in Osmanbey. It is a fashion center that contributes to the promotion of Turkey while exporting ready-to-wear garments to the world."
During the visit, Ali Ulvi Orhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTİAD, presented Bahçıvan with a ceramic plate in memory of the visit.
