Ali Ulvi Orhan, Member of the Board of Directors of ISO and former President of OTIAD, was elected as the President of TOBB Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Assembly.

 Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Sector Assemblies Directorate Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Assembly Presidential elections were held. On April 20, 2016, Hikmet Tanrıverdi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of İHKİB, İlker Karataş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OTİAD, Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LASIAD, Yusuf Gecü, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MESİAD, Şeref Fayat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TGSD, İrfan Özhamaratlı, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of İSO, Ali Ulvi Orhan, Member of the Board of Directors of İSO, Abdullah Kiğılı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kiğılı Group of Companies and members of the assembly participated in the assembly elections held in Odakule building of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO). The first leg of the assembly elections was held between Şeref Fayat and Ali Ulvi Orhan, who were candidates for the chairmanship of the Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Assembly. 36 delegates voted in the elections and ISO Board Member Ali Ulvi Orhan was elected as the President of the TOBB Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Assembly. In the second part of the session, LASIAD Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca assumed the role of Vice President of TOBB Apparel and Ready-to-Wear Industry Assembly.
