Fashion Design Technologies Skills Competition was held

The Fashion Design Technologies Skill Competition, organized for the second time this year by the Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters' Association (IHKIB) with the support of the Ministry of Trade and in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, has ended. 212 students from 53 high schools competed fiercely against time to come up with the best model, and Sultangazi Nene Hatun Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School won the grand prize. IHKIB Kağıthane Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School won the second prize, Kocasinan Multi-Program Anatolian High School won the third prize, and Nahit Menteşe Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School won the best teamwork award. Hikmet Nazif Kurşunoğlu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School won the special jury award. A total of 55 thousand TL was awarded in the competition. The first, second and third place winners received 20,000, 15,000 and 10,000 TL, respectively, and those who were deemed worthy of the "jury special award" and the "best teamwork" award received 5,000 TL each. The tears of joy of the students who ranked among the winners gave those in the hall moments full of emotion. IHKIB President Mustafa Gültepe, ITHIB President Ahmet Öksüz, Ministry of National Education General Director of Vocational and Technical Education Prof. Dr. Kemal Varın Numanoğlu, Ministry of National Education General Director of Vocational and Technical Education Prof. Dr. Kemal Varın Numanoğlu and Ministry of National Education Istanbul Provincial Director Levent Yazıcı, sectoral association presidents, exporter associations board presidents, exporter associations, TIM board members, ready-to-wear and apparel industry representatives, school representatives, students and students' families attended the award ceremony of the Fashion Design Technologies Skills Competition organized for students who will determine their future and career plans with their talents. OTİAD was represented by President Rıdvan Kandağ, Board Members Ekrem Karakaya and İbrahim Hakkı Erdem.
