Return visit from MESIAD to OTIAD

MESİAD Board of Directors and President Halit Tuna paid a return visit to Osmanbey Textile Businessmen Association-OTIAD. During the visit where the developments in the sector were discussed, the presidents of both associations stated that the events that took place in Gezi Park and spread throughout Turkey damaged the textile sector.

Merter Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MESİAD) President Halit Tuna and members of the board of directors paid a return visit to OTİAD. During the meeting, which lasted for about an hour, President Ali Ulvi Orhan, MESİAD President Halit Tuna and the board members of both associations exchanged information about the situation of our sector in Turkey and in the world and their expectations for the future. The sector representatives shared some of the problems experienced by the sector and made mutual recommendations. Both presidents, who emphasized the importance of acting together especially in fairs, education and issues concerning the sector, agreed that the events in Gezi Park, which spread throughout Turkey, started to harm the textile sector.
At the end of the meeting, a mutual thank you plaque was given to commemorate the visit and a photo was taken together.
