The Light of Innovation will be on in Istanbul!
Turkey Innovation Week, which will be organized for the 3rd time this year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) with the support of the Ministry of Economy, with the strategic partnership of Arçelik A.Ş, Sabancı Holding, Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) and Turkish Airlines (THY) and with the Netherlands as a partner country, will bring the people of the future to Istanbul.
Turkey Innovation Week, which will be organized for the 3rd time this year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) with the support of the Ministry of Economy and with the strategic partnership of Arçelik A.Ş., Sabancı Holding, Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) and Turkish Airlines (THY) and with the Netherlands as a partner, will bring the people of the future to Istanbul. The event, which will be held at the Istanbul Congress Center on 4-5-6 December, will host dozens of local and foreign speakers who are experts in their fields.
The finale of 2014
Speaking at the introductory meeting of the event, TIM President Mehmet Büyükekşi drew attention to the importance of the event to be held in Istanbul, following the Anatolian tour organized in Izmir, Ankara and Gaziantep, which was attended by approximately 20 thousand people. "For the last 3 years, we have been trying to raise awareness in Turkey on innovation and we see that we have succeeded. Istanbul will be the final event of 2014." Mr. Büyükekşi said that presentations will be made on topics such as technology, business world, education, Turks ruling the world, digital media, marketing, science and energy.
Büyükekşi said that the finals of İnovalig, where Turkey's most innovative companies will be awarded and 500 successful students will be selected among 10 thousand applicants, will also be held within the scope of the event and added, "The aim is to raise awareness of this business. The aim is to increase the interest of all segments of society, from factory workers to white-collar workers and students. The expectation is the future of Turkey." Büyükekşi also emphasized the importance of the Netherlands' request to become a partner country, adding that there could be similar partnerships in the coming years.

In addition to many famous names such as Nicholas Negroponte, Founder of MIT Media Lab, Esko Aho, Former Prime Minister of Finland, Jeremy Lıddle, President of G20 Young Entrepreneurs Association, Robert Tercek, Digital Media Expert and Ayşe Birsel, world-renowned Turkish designer; astrophysicists, robotics experts, digital entertainment and media content producers, writers, world-renowned designers, successful Turks who have held senior positions abroad, marketing experts and academicians will participate as speakers at the Turkey Innovation Week Istanbul event. Local and foreign inventors will present their projects and innovation processes.
