Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters' Association (İHKİB) brought together the members of Hosiery Industrialists' Association (ÇSD) and All Underwear Industrialists' Association (TİGSAD) in an organization held at Polat Rönesans Hotel. In addition to OTIAD, LASIAD, MESIAD, BATIAD, TRISAD representatives, ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan, İHKİB President Hikmet Tanrıverdi, ITHIB President İsmail Gülle and many representatives of non-governmental organizations attended the event.

 After the iftar dinner, the presidents of the associations came to the stage and took the floor. ÇSD President Bülent İyikülah, who took the floor first, emphasized unity and solidarity in his speech. TİGSAD President Osman Alyüz also emphasized the importance of Ramadan.

 Tanrıverdi Gave Information About TTM

 Hikmet Tanrıverdi, President of IHKIB, then took the floor and shared with the guests the numerical data on the agenda of the ready-to-wear and textile industry. Emphasizing that Turkey is going through an important process, Tanrıverdi said that more work is needed. Giving information about Turkish Trade Centers, Tanrıverdi shared important information for Moscow. Turkish Trade Centers (TTM) offer exporters a great advantage in terms of rent. Stating that it is difficult for exporter companies to rent a place in a building like Silkway Shopping Center, Tanrıverdi said, "Only Turkish Made products will be exhibited in the stores. Brand and copyright rights will be respected. Only wholesale sales will be made in the stores. The average participation fee for a standard store is 1000 dollars."

 Tanrıverdi also shared the information that Turkish Trade Centers are planned to be opened in important points around the world. According to the information given by Hikmet Tanrıverdi, President of İHKİB, the USA and European countries are next in line after Moscow. In addition to New York, Miami and Los Angeles are also among the targets. New York is an important center of world trade.

 In his speech, ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan drew attention to unity and solidarity and said that he found it very important for industrialists, who work hard and labor, to meet in these places and that industrialists who create added value for this country by producing and exporting deserve much more.  Drawing attention to the developments in Turkey and the world, Bahçıvan emphasized that the peace and economic stability created by unity and solidarity should be well appreciated. Bahçıvan said, "The only thing we can do in such an environment is to produce and produce. In order for this beautiful homeland of ours to see better days, in order for it to write an industrial story again, it must not deviate from protecting this unity and solidarity, producing and creating added value."

OTİAD was represented by President İlker Karataş as well as Board Members Hikmet Ünal, Cüneyt Mutkan, Rıdvan Kandağ, Sarven Okçu and Mustafa Türk at the iftar, which was attended by sector representatives.
